The original golf course was a six hole course sited at Mossmark in the village and the current course which was designed by Willie Fernie in 1901 and is sited at Lochhill, New Cumnock

1st Hole
370 Yard Par 4:
A long carry over ditches and rushes to a relatively broad
fairway. Supported with a forward ladies tee. -
2nd Hole
349Yards Par 4:
The main New Cumnock-Cumnock road out of bounds to the right. -
3rd Hole
280 Yard Par 4:
Teeing-off from the Lochside House road-end with out of bounds on the right again. The Loch O' the Lowes lies ahead

4th Hole
361 Yard Par 4:
Out of bounds on the right, but the main Glasgow-Carlisle railway line is well off the beaten track. Wee burn to cross over on the way to a fine green -
5th Hole
412 Yard Par 4:
The longest hole on the course with a deep burn to the right.
There is a smaller burn to negotiate that cuts across the fairway before a small knowe and then on to a hidden green. -
6th Hole
180 Yard Par 3:
The first par 3 with the hidden green nestling in a hollow with a mini woodland to the left, bunkers to the front and a burn beyond

7th Hole
Yards 323 Par 4:
Fairway sweeps uphill and over a ridge to a hidden green that sits in the shadow of the old clubhouse. -
8th Hole
250 Yard Par 4:
Uphill all the way to the highest point on the course. -
9th Hole
